Fall News: Puerto Rico Fundraiser, Online Payments and more!

Happy Fall! 🍁🍂 🌿

First of all… thank you *so much* to everyone that filled out the Troy Yoga survey! I really appreciate the insight into your practice goals and preferences! I am in the process of modifying the schedule with new classes and teachers, which I hope to announce soon…

In the meantime, I will be traveling to Tuscany 10/28 – 11/8 for a family vacation to one of my favorite places on Earth. I am very much looking forward to the time to rest, explore, and take my practice abroad! While I am away, please come to class and say hello to Chantalle and Allison, two talented ladies that will be covering the Monday and Wednesday classes while I’m away.

See below for some other fun announcements! The holidays are coming and good things are happening at Troy Yoga, and all around. Be sure to take a pause… a deep breath in… and tune in to the abundance around you. When there are challenging things happening in the world around us, gratitude is the most powerful action we can take to remain centered and strong.

I’m excited to announce that Troy Yoga will be participating – along with several other yoga studios in the Capital Region – in a fundraiser to help rebuild the small island of Culebra, just off the main coast of Puerto Rico. While I’m Away…

Mondays with Chantalle Todd

October 30th and November 6th

Chantalle Todd sees yoga as a means of self-transformation by creating space in the body, mind, and spirit. In her own practice, she attributes yoga to helping her lose 100lbs, release anxieties, and live a fuller life. She hopes to empower students over time by encouraging them to safely reach their edges, connect with their breath, and introspect in her classes. As an artist and hatha yoga teacher, she’s interested in exploring the body’s energy systems, potential for healing, creative power, and capacity for peace.

Wednesdays with Allison Sheehan

November 1st and November 8th

Allison SheehanAllison Sheehan’s teaching focuses on helping students slow down, find relief from stress, overcome self-limiting beliefs, transform, and live extraordinary lives. She began her path as a solution for self-care and stress management emerged personally. With a gift of compassion, patience, humor, and the desire to connect, Allison strives to brings these gifts to her teaching style and to her students.

“I only hope to make each student feel that yoga is a practice that we all can embrace and incorporate into our lives. Yoga is a practice that belongs to all of us, and it is just a matter of finding what works for each individual. I wish for people to feel happier, to live life, and to stop being so hard on themselves.”
